This will be, without a doubt, one of the best weeks of your life. While it will be challenging at times, the adventure will prove to be a rewarding experience. After taking hundreds of groups on trail, we know that having the right equipment is essential. While WayForward takes care of the technical backpacking gear, the supplies you need to provide are laid out and explained in the Packing Guide below.

Upper Body

HIKING SHIRT

Description: Short sleeve shirt made from wicking material such as merino wool, nylon, or polyester. UPF rating helpful for sun exposure.

Description: A 450-800 fill down or synthetic jacket that will fit over your other layers and compress down when packed. Preferred for early trips. Will need either this OR fleece top.
