  • President and Founder

    Todd brings 15 years of experience in adventure ministry. Beginning in 2005, he has served as guide, Base Camp Coordinator and Speaker/Trainer for Young Life’s Wilderness Ranch. He has a Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He brings 18 years of ministry experience, most recently as the Area Director for YL in Richardson, Texas. Todd is married to Erin and they have a daughter, Hadley, and two sons, Tripp and Beckett. In the off season, Todd speaks at churches, retreats and trains leaders on maximizing their impact.

  • Chairman

    Josh serves as a Lead Pastor at The Village Church located in Flower Mound, TX. He serves on the elder board and has oversight of ministry leadership. Josh received his undergrad from Texas A&M, his Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate in Executive Leadership from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Josh is also a co-author of the book “Creature of the Word” along with Matt Chandler and Eric Geiger. His greatest joy outside of Jesus is his family. Josh and his wife, Natalie, are the proud parents of Lily, Luke, Liv, and Lucy.

  • Leslie received a degree in education from Texas A&M University and then served many years with Young Life. Within her church, she created a contemplative prayer service called STILL. A mentor to women, trained spiritual director, silence and solitude retreat facilitator and Director of Spiritual Transformation for Edify, her mission is to create space for people to come face to face with the Living God. Leslie is married to Tiger Dawson and they have two daughters and a son-in-law.

  • Alex is a co-founder of WayForward Adventures and brings more than 11 years of experience in adventure ministry. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Texas and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business. Alex has a passion for developing young adults into disciples that understand how to live out their faith in the workplace. Alex lives in Houston, Texas with his wife Christyn and two daughters. Their family are involved members at Memorial Drive Presbyterian church where Christyn works.

  • Tommy is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance. Married to Sarah and now with four children, Tommy and his family have their roots firmly planted in Texas. He is passionate about his family, helping churches with their real estate needs pro bono and advancing trail systems and parks throughout Dallas.

  • Cory is the Chief Development Officer of Michigan Potash & Salt Company. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Montana State University and has spent much of his career in the Energy business. He was most recently Managing Director and on the Investment Committee at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. Cory is active in the men’s ministry at Grace Bible Church in Houston, TX. He and his beautiful wife Kelli have two children.


  • Co-Founder

    Erin has served as the Director of Communications for Edify and Marketing Manager with Halftime. She brings extensive knowledge of branding and communication in the non-profit space. Erin received her B.S. in Business Marketing from Univ. of Central Arkansas in 2006. She is married to Todd and they have three children.

  • Landon owns Concord Medical Group, a medical staffing company he and his father built over the past 15 years. He is no longer active in operations but still serves as Vice Chairman of the Board. He now has a company that invests in entrepreneurs and early stage companies. Landon received his BA in Business from Eastern New Mexico University. He is the founder of Freestone Ministries, an organization that is committed to the pursuit of biblical manhood, and he serves on the board of Physicians Aiding Physicians Abroad. Landon also helps lead the men’s ministry at Parkridge Pregnancy Center. He is married to Whitney and they have five kids at home. He has a passion for adventure and the outdoors and loves getting his family out on camping and backpacking trips as often as possible.

  • Bill is a WayForward co-founder and board member. Prior to the formation of WayForward, he retired from a 30-year career in computer software and services. Bill is an entrepreneur at heart and continues to create and design problem-solving products. He is married to Becky Strahan, and together they have four adult children.

  • Special Advisor to the President

    Reed Livesay graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Accounting. He spent two years working for Arthur Andersen and then eight years starting and establishing a new business in Orlando, Florida. His passion for ministry and Christian camping eventually drew him to Pine Cove, a Christian camp headquartered in Tyler, Texas in 2005. Reed has served as the President and CEO since 2015. Reed, and his wife Julie, reside in Tyler and are active members at South Spring Baptist Church.
